Kaunan is fire, but not wildfire — the controlled flame of the torch and the forge, the light that lets work continue after dark. It is the rune of skill, creativity, and knowledge earned rather than given.

The piece — Handcast pewter, lead- and antimony-free. About 32mm, the size of a large coin. Black waxed cotton cord, adjustable. Each one cast individually — no two alike.
